Wondering how to get those long beautiful legs or the perfectly toned legs!

Initially I was quite skeptical at the thought of taking spinning class for an hour! As a good student, I did my homework to find out about the brownie points in taking the strenuous exercise for 60 minutes. After my initial research, I was certainly motivated to pump and push my lazy legs. I rushed to the class ten minutes earlier thinking that I would not get a cycle otherwise. In contrary to my belief, class started with three students including myself. Thankfully, I got the extra attention from the instructor and was advised on how to use the machine and do the exercise.

First thirty minutes was an incredible experience. It was mostly pant..uff..pant..uff. My heart rate must have raced at 85-90 percent of the maximum heart rate. This in-fact made me to come home and calculate the optimal heart rate that is good for spinning = [(220- age in years) – Resting Heart Rate ] x Exercise intensity + Resting Heart rate – Karvonen Formula.

In the last thirty minutes of the class, I was waiting for the instructor to signal stop during every minute of it. All I was able to hear was the pumping loud music. I managed to pull myself to 60 minutes on the spinning cycle. I got to say that it is the mother of all exercises I have experienced so far. I was completely drenched by the sweat. The minute I felt the exercise floor, I was lost in a world of complete satisfaction and elevated emotionally on having worked out very well. I also realized it would have been easier if I had the right shoes, reduced the resistance level and concentrated more on the music rather than the time.

Have you had a similar experience like this? If so, let us talk about it!
